His passions include archery, swordplay, martial arts, fashion, modeling (he is also a published model), costuming, and theater, both on stage and on screen.Tony is deeply committed to promoting authenticity and encouraging people to live as their truest selves. Through his work in community spaces, conventions, and workshops, he inspires others to embrace their “inner geek,” whether that takes the form of Dungeons & Dragons, cosplay, maker culture, or alternative relationship structures REDFIELD DESIGNS Redfield knows that everyone needs to start somewhere when starting a new hobby, especially one as all-encompassing as cosplay, and it isn’t always pretty but it can get better. For the past 15 years she striven to create cosplays that push her skills outside her comfort zone, but we don’t gate keep. FIELD OF EMBERS Field of Embers is a new band featuring Maddie Cardoza and Nathaniel Johnstone. Their sets include a wide range of genres and instrumentation, from piano/violin ballads about quantum physics and death, to guitar/clarinet folk tunes about the horrors of being a cat owner, and guitar/piano and two voices singing about the importance of community and the power of love and friendship. DAVE LEE Dave Lee is an artist at Hatton Cross Steampunk, located in Mathews Virginia. He has been a featured artist, guest maker and guest author at exhibits, conventions, Comicons, festivals and art galleries throughout the US, Europe, UK and New Zealand. He is most recognized for his large armored costumes and Steampunk vehicles. A highlight for David has been to lead the Space Marine armor build for Brand Schovlar. He is the producer of the Steampunk YouTube channel entitled “HCS Creates” and has played a supporting role and prop maker for the TV series “Paradox City”, the films “Secret Within The Sphere” & both “Steampunk Boba Fett” short films. JOHN STRANGEWAY John F. Strangeway is a cosplayer, chainmail artist, and convention personality who hails from the Atlanta, Georgia area. Perhaps most well known as the Steampunk Boba Fett, Strangeway has a historied background in cosplay culture, beginning with his humble New Jersey origin story. Going as far back as ten years old painting his older brother's Warhammer Blood Angels squad while listening to Rush, Strangeway can't remember a time when he wasn't interested in sci-fi and fantasy. From his wide range of fandoms came a Star Wars and Steampunk crossover that would inspire music, fan films, and eventually even get his image officially licenced by Star Wars, thanks to artist Brian Kessinger. . NIGHTWATCH PARADOX As a theatrically leaning music troupe, Night Watch Paradox brings the sights and sounds of aworld that never was but could have been. Much of Night Watch Paradox’ lyrics pay homage to 19th Century Baltimore history, all while offering their own twists or alternative versions. The music itself draws from a wide variety of styles including rock, jazz, Americana, Appalachi- an and Klezmer. With a lineup of electric and acoustic guitars, bass, drums, ukulele, flute, and both female and male vocalists, Night Watch Paradox can easily evoke the proper mood from sombre to frenzied exuberance. ERIK AND RÉ TEAGUE Erik and Ré Teague are a dynamic duo of Costumes based in Alexandria, VA. Joined in matrimony as well as professionally, each create costume art for Theatre and Opera in the Washington DC area and beyond. Ré is an accomplished Costume Technician with over two decades of experience creating custom garments for performers and patrons alike. Erik is a Helen Hayes Award winning Costume Designer and Crafts Artist who’s designs have been seen on stages from New York to New Mexico and every place in between. These Artists share a deep love for the Dark Victorian aesthetic and delight in any good excuse for top hats and finery. They are delighted to return to the Key City Steampunk Convention, which has become another artistic haunt for them and their costumed coterie, The Gentlemonsters. STEAMCORDIA Steamcordia ("STEAM as in water, CORD as in rope, IA as in I, A") is a one-man Steampunk musical act. Stephen Cornelius, the man behind the music, uses the instruments he has lying around his apartment to regale listeners with melodic Steampunk stories featuring both mirth and mayhem. What started as a few songs turned into a full album (and a few virtual concerts) after receiving an unexpected "gift" of half a year off during 2020. When Covid hit, live events (including theatre) were shut down for the foreseeable future. During the time off, he wrote and recorded songs, shot a few music videos, and even built a set of orchestra chimes. JAMES AND KRISTEN NEATHERY James Neathery is a leatherworker and tinker from Nashville, TN. He got started in 2011 on small leather projects and eventually was featured on the game show Steampunk’d on GSN in 2016. Since then, he has expanded his interests into leather restoration, metalworking, woodworking, electronics and bluetooth speakers, foamcraft, and really bad dad jokes He teaches a well-attended leather watch class and separate pouch class at conventions each year along with his wife, Kristen, who is well known for her gaming dice making classes. This whimsical goblin hails from Nashville, TN where she lives with her husband, James Neathery, and two children. By day she’s a Respiratory Therapist and helping patients breathe easy and by night she’s an avid gamer and practicing witch. After attending steampunk conventions she was inspired and started experimenting with various forms of art. Her goblin tendencies won out and now (after many years of hyperfocus) she happily hosts dice classes. CALAMITY DAWN Calamity Dawn is a semi-retired bartender and forever mixologist. She has well over a decade of experience creating and serving tasty libations both Boozy and non alcoholic. Calamity also has decades of experience enjoying said libations! She has been in the con scene for a very long time and has become a bit of a known figure in some circles. Bringing a bit of hospitality and her congenial nature wherever she goes, Calamity is always happy to stop and talk. BRETT KING Brett King is a man of many hats - a costumer, prop-maker, gamemaster, game designer, presenter, Magic Lantern performer, and convention organizer. His life-long love of role-playing games and storytelling carried over into his steampunk panels, props, and costumes. He always aims to entertain, inform, and inspire at conventions, whether running steampunk-styled Dungeons & Dragons games, teaching about automata or prop making, entertaining as his troll-hunting alter-ego Gustaf Danielsson, or presenting Magic Lantern shows. LEANNA RENEE HIEBER Leanna Renee Hieber is a professional actress, playwright, ghost tour guide and an award-winning, bestselling author of fiction and non-fiction for Tor and Kensington Books. THOM A TRUELOVE Thom A. Truelove has had a wide-ranging career in music, art, design, production and science, with particular passion and expertise in 18th century history and Masonry. A DJ, musical consultant, graphic artist and illustrator, he is a co-founder of Psychic Wing R & D production company, and co-created the Time Immemorial series of futuristic fantasy novellas along with award-winning, bestselling author Leanna Renee Hieber and has crafted numerous book covers for Everand.com.
