• Badges must be worn and remain visible at all times while in convention spaces.
• Badges are non-transferable and may only be used by the individual to whom they were issued.
• Lost badges should be reported to Registration immediately. Replacement badges may be issued at the discretion of convention management and may require a replacement fee.
• Altered or counterfeit badges will be confiscated.

Our staff and volunteers are here to help ensure a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable event for everyone.

• Please follow the instructions of convention staff, volunteers, hotel staff, and emergency personnel.
• Staff may intervene to address unsafe behavior, policy violations, or situations that disrupt the convention.
• Failure to comply with staff instructions or convention policies may result in removal from the event without refund.
• Treat all staff, volunteers, and fellow attendees with courtesy and respect.

Photography and video recording take place throughout the convention.

• Professional photographers, media representatives, exhibitors, content creators, and attendees may take photographs or record video in public convention areas.
• By attending Key City Steampunk Convention, you acknowledge and consent to your likeness being captured and used in convention publications, social media, promotional materials, and future advertising without additional permission or compensation.
• If you prefer not to appear in a posed photograph or interview, please inform the photographer whenever possible.
• While reasonable requests will be respected when possible, incidental appearances in crowd photos or videos cannot be avoided.

Each attendee is responsible for safeguarding their own belongings.

• Keep your personal belongings with you at all times.
• Do not leave valuables unattended.
• Report lost or found property to Registration as soon as possible.
• Key City Steampunk Convention, its staff, volunteers, venue, sponsors, and partners are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

Participation in convention activities is voluntary.

• By attending, you acknowledge the inherent risks associated with large public gatherings.
• You assume responsibility for your own health, safety, and personal well-being while attending convention activities.
• Exercise reasonable care and follow all posted rules and staff instructions.
• If you observe an unsafe condition or emergency, notify convention staff immediately.

Convention programming is planned well in advance, but changes may occasionally be necessary.

• Guests, performers, vendors, workshops, and presenters are subject to change.
• Event times and room assignments may change without notice.
• Some workshops may require advance registration or an additional materials fee.
• Refer to the Con-Track app or the published convention schedule for the most up-to-date information.

Convention policies exist to help provide a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

• Policies may be revised or updated as circumstances require.
• The most current versions of all convention policies will always be available on the Key City Steampunk Convention website.
• It is the responsibility of each attendee to remain familiar with current convention policies.

Our staff is here to help throughout the convention weekend.

• Visit Registration if you have questions or need assistance.
• Speak with any Key City Steampunk Convention staff member if you need help or wish to report a concern.
• Report harassment, unsafe behavior, or emergencies immediately.
• In the event of an emergency, always follow the directions of convention staff, hotel personnel, or first responders.

Key City Steampunk Convention is committed to providing a welcoming, inclusive, and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

• Please be respectful and considerate of fellow attendees, staff, volunteers, and hotel personnel.
• Keep aisles, doorways, and accessible seating areas clear whenever possible.
• Be mindful of large costumes and props in crowded areas, and make room for those using mobility devices.
• Ask before touching another person’s costume, props, or personal belongings.
• Practice good convention etiquette by keeping conversations, performances, and activities from disrupting nearby events.
• Help us maintain a clean and welcoming environment by disposing of trash properly and respecting convention and hotel property.
• If you witness someone in need of assistance or observe an accessibility concern, please notify a member of the convention staff.
