Ticket Purchase & Registration Policy

Thank you for choosing to attend Key City Steampunk Convention! This policy outlines important information regarding ticket purchases, registration, and admission to help ensure a smooth and enjoyable convention experience.

Please Note: By purchasing or accepting a ticket to Key City Steampunk Convention, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Ticket Purchase & Registration Policy, the Code of Conduct, and all other applicable convention policies.


Purchasing Tickets

Tickets should be purchased through the official Key City Steampunk Convention website.

  • Weekend, Daily, and VIP Passes are available while supplies last.
  • VIP Passes are limited in quantity and may sell out prior to the event.
  • Ticket prices do not include applicable taxes or payment processing fees unless otherwise noted.
  • Ticket availability, pricing, and admission options are subject to change without notice.

Registration & Badge Pickup

Your convention badge is your admission to Key City Steampunk Convention.

  • All attendees must check in at Registration to receive their convention badge.
  • A valid government-issued photo ID may be requested when picking up your badge.
  • Please verify the information on your badge before leaving the Registration area.
  • Convention badges must be worn visibly at all times while in convention spaces.
  • Badges are non-transferable and remain the property of Key City Steampunk Convention.

Children

Families are welcome at Key City Steampunk Convention.

  • Children 12 years of age and under are admitted free when accompanied by a ticketed adult.
  • Parents and guardians are responsible for the supervision, safety, and conduct of minors attending the convention.
  • Some programming may not be suitable for younger attendees. Parents and guardians are encouraged to review event descriptions before attending.

Ticket Transfers

Tickets are issued for use by the individual who purchased or registered them.

  • Tickets and convention badges are non-transferable without prior approval from convention management.
  • Unauthorized ticket transfers, resale, duplication, or reproduction of tickets or badges may result in cancellation without refund.

Refund Policy

All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.

  • Tickets are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
  • If you believe you have extraordinary circumstances that warrant special consideration, you may submit a written request by emailing operations@keycitysteampunk.com. All requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of Key City Steampunk Convention management.
  • Submission of a request does not guarantee approval of a refund or other accommodation.
  • Payment processing fees charged by third-party providers are non-refundable.
  • Failure to attend the convention does not qualify for a refund.

Convention Changes

Key City Steampunk Convention works hard to provide the best possible experience for every attendee; however, circumstances may occasionally require changes.

  • Guests, performers, vendors, workshops, event schedules, room assignments, entertainment, and other programming are subject to change without notice.
  • Programming changes, guest cancellations, scheduling adjustments, or room changes do not constitute grounds for a refund.
  • Every reasonable effort will be made to communicate significant changes through the convention website, social media, email announcements, or the Con-Track mobile app.

Lost or Forgotten Badges

If your badge is lost, stolen, damaged, or forgotten, Registration is here to help.

  • Lost badges should be reported to Registration immediately.
  • Replacement badges may be issued at the discretion of convention management and may require verification of purchase and payment of a replacement fee.
  • Altered, duplicated, counterfeit, or otherwise unauthorized badges will be confiscated and are not valid for admission.

Admission

Your convention badge is a revocable license to attend Key City Steampunk Convention.

  • Key City Steampunk Convention reserves the right to refuse admission or revoke any badge without refund for violations of convention policies.
  • Attendees are expected to comply with the Code of Conduct and all published convention policies.
  • Attendees must follow the directions of convention staff, volunteers, hotel personnel, and emergency responders.
  • Failure to comply with convention policies or staff instructions may result in removal from the convention without refund.
